Your missions

Evolve Music is a community music charity striving to become the South West leading organisation for inclusive sound exploration and creative music making. We are searching for a enthusiastic individuals to join our board.

What difference will you make?

As a trustee for Evolve Music you will be supporting a young, committed and driven charity to reach out to communities using sound and music as a tool for positive change. As a small organisation our Board of Trustees are crucial to our success and growth in achieving our mission; to enrich the lives of families, young people and adults using sound and music. Your support as Trustee will help to ensure our charity delivers fun, inclusive and accessible music activities across the South West, for young children, families, neurodiverse young people and older people supporting mental health and well being, friendships and developing language and skills. Our work also recognises the need to support and develop the community music workforce by providing training, networking and advocacy activities for the community music sector.

What are we looking for?

Skills policy writing, employment law and recruitment, knowledge of access and inclusion Experience minimum 3 years working in HR, Education or a legal environment Qualities Enthusiastic with a desire to make a difference, have an interest in music/community arts for social change

What will you be doing?

Evolve Music is a young charity in an exciting period of development. As we continue to grow and work through our new business plan we seek enthusiastic individuals to join our board of trustees from March 2024. Inclusion and accessibility are at the heart of our practice and we are looking for individuals who share these values.
