Your missions

As a Senior Procurement Manager for Indirect Procurement for Stonegate you will be supporting our Pub Support Teams with their supplier and procurement needs. In this new role, you'll provide comprehensive support to Head of Purchasing (Non Food or Drink) as we grow the responsibilities for this team to take on indirect procurement. As Senior Procurement Manager, you'll be supplier facing so effective relationship management is important as well as having outstanding contract negotiation skills. You'll be involved in a wide variety of projects and play a crucial supportive role in their successful delivery, as the specialist in procurement across the support functions. This role will work to support our Head Office teams including Property, IT, HR and other functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for purchasing and commercial agreements/contracts with supplier base to secure optimum deals for Stonegate. This will focus on non-commercial contracts such as Property, IT, HR and finance.
  2. Focus on cost reduction – better assessment of requirements and negotiating
  3. Cost avoidance – purchase only what we require and cut wastage.
  4. Identify opportunities to improve working capital through enhancing payment terms
  5. Prepare inputs for monthly procurement reviews and board paper submissions.
  6. Ensuring all product and supplier data is available, up to date and accurate.
  7. Close collaboration with Property , IT and other functions.
  8. Work closely with Legal to ensure effective contractual agreements are in place.
  9. Internal engagement with operations to ensure all formats are set up for success.
  10. Working on strategic projects and connecting cross functionally to achieve goals.
  11. Work closely with head of purchasing for tenders / negotiations.


You'll need to have:

  • Significant experience of procurement in related fields of property or other indirect procurement.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire your direct and cross functional teams
  • High level of IT skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and with confidence
  • High level of Commercial and numerical skills
  • First class negotiation skills
  • A demonstrable track record of delivering projects on time and in full.
