The Role
The Brand Planner, Brand Planning, Strategy & Operations UGG serves as planning partner to the Brand Product team. This individual will support the major functions of global merchandise financial planning (MFP), go-to-market (GTM) process execution, data analysis of product performance, and development of style/color plans throughout the pre-season GTM process. The role is critical in providing cross-functional support to the UGG Brand team by serving as a partner to unlock data insights, which drive decision making against seasonal initiatives. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Brand Planning, Strategy and Operations and will engage with a number of cross-functional teams including brand product, marketing, regional merchandising, and demand planning.

Your Impact
- Ensure bottoms-up style/color plans align with MFP throughout planning season
- Support Brand Planning in MFP (merchandise financial plan) process and range plan development to optimize the business based on seasonal strategies and financial targets
- Support the division/category financial planning process to develop seasonal targets and metrics (i.e., dollars, units, SKUs, margin, efficiency, etc.)
- Support Brand Planning team to design and develop meaningful reporting and presentation tools to improve data collection/management and reporting efforts to enhance decision-making, support for strategic initiatives and business development proposals
- Manage the global Brand Planning product reporting suite including seasonal product range plans, global wholesale demand plan, regional direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales plans, product pricers, and other category analysis reports
- Partner with Deckers Data & Analytics teams to improve UGG Brand Planning data management, analysis, and reporting capabilities by leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Drive analysis of product performance at the category-level and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) against targets set in the MFP: sales, SKU count, productivity, margin, etc.
- Provide support of Brand Planning product reporting suite to the user groups including UGG Brand Product and Marketing teams
- Develop a culture and practice of continuous improvement; support and contribute to defining an evolving business model and structure

We’d love to hear from people with
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis on financial or business analysis
- Minimum 3 years of footwear and/or apparel merchandising concepts and operations with an understanding of key financial analysis and retail planning metrics
- Business knowledge of apparel and/or footwear merchandising concepts and operations preferred
- Highly proficient in Microsoft applications especially Excel & PowerPoint
- Familiarity, knowledge, and understanding of metrics and calculations used in the retail industry
- Ability to remotely support and interact effectively with multi-functional stakeholders in matrix organization
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and merchandise planning systems preferred
- Ability to work with large amounts of data, distill key drivers, summarize, and communicate conclusions
- Demonstrated organizational skills, self-motivated and focused on meeting deadlines, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
