Role: Oracle Cloud ERP Senior Functional Architect
Location: Buffalo, NY (Onsite) *Must reside in the United States
Relevant Experience (YRS): 10-12+
Job Summary
We have an immediate need for a highly skilled “ORACLE CLOUD ERP SENIOR FUNCTIONAL ARCHITECT” with Oracle Cloud ERP expertise to manage and lead implementation projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage all Functional aspects of Oracle Cloud Support projects.
- Including functionality of the following modules: Oracle Cloud General ledger, Oracle Cloud Payables, Oracle Cloud Projects, Oracle Cloud Cash Management and Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets.
- Analyze, design and configure best practice business needs through technology solutions in Support related engagement.
- Well verse in Manage Support Services.
- Interact with client teams to understand their requirement and design the robust solution.
- Develop an understanding of a client’s current state process and developing future state technical recommendations.
- Executing the day-to-day activities of Oracle ERP Cloud engagements including process design, leading key configuration workshops, identifying Gaps, identify RICEW, and support testing.
- Participation in requirement gathering, analyzing business requirements, aligning business requirements and best practices to implement a functional solution.
- Manage Functional project delivery and lead project onsite/offshore technical teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and development of internal processes and intellectual property.
- Define new and refine existing business processes.
- Participation in project planning, providing subject/technical matter expertise, estimating work, development of proposals and statements of work.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge on conversion areas and map the data from legacy system to Oracle Cloud ERP applications.
Required Qualifications
- Support Projects
- Full life-cycle project development including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing and Roll-out.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Structures, module-specific configurations, ability to do requirement analysis and deliver functional design documents of the mentioned modules.
- Ability to quickly understand the business requirement and to design functional concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MS Computer Science or MCA Master of Computer Applications or BE Computer or BE Electronics.
- Experience with various cloud, SaaS, and on-premises ERP or EBS.
- Oracle Cloud Functional knowledge on Procurement Cloud added advantage.
- Oracle Cloud Certification.
Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000/Year to $162,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
