For our EMEA Headquarter, we are looking for an analytical and creative Community Manager (m/f/x) to help us improve and streamline the tester experience within our community, and contribute to Applause’s uTest brand and community awareness. This role is a blend of strategic and tactical, where the successful candidate will manage end to end complex and diverse projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with multiple internal teams to help identify, recruit and match testers with the specific needs of our customers
  • Help our community grow faster worldwide by creating and managing programs that further accelerate our goal to be the world's largest freelance tester community
  • Build excitement around the notion of ‘achieving high digital customer satisfaction’ that existing and prospective members of our community will not only grasp but fully stand up for
  • Develop new programs to enhance learning and networking among our global community
  • Engage with our Social channels and develop these further
  • Collaborate with industry experts to find new ways of capturing more tester mindshare
  • Represent our uTest tester community to build awareness and recruit new members
  • Use marketing channels across the globe to support our testing projects


What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 2+ years of experience in networking, community management, project management or digital marketing
  • Direct or indirect exposure to the software development and testing life cycle is a major plus
  • A highly competitive and self-driven sense of motivation, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Prioritization is key
  • Proven track record of driving results and meeting deadlines; one who is analytical, creative and possesses an acute attention to detail
  • Hands-on mentality and outside-the-box thinking skills are crucial in this position
  • Strong communication skills in written and verbal English - German or French language skills are a bonus but not a requirement


The ideal candidate will have a documented record of recruiting resources for large-scale projects, a strong attention to detail, be able to creatively solve problems independently, and be motivated to deliver a high level of service
