Your new role

This position involves delivering mandatory regulatory training, including ADR and DCPC, to all full-time, agency, and contracted employees, requiring prior approval from SQA and DVSA. Ensuring adherence to safety rules and procedures is crucial, as safety is a condition of employment. The role includes maintaining and applying knowledge of distribution procedures, delivering training in line with company policies, and assisting in identifying high-risk drivers. Responsibilities also involve coaching, developing training plans, and working cross-functionally to address safety concerns. The position supports driver teams as a subject-matter expert, aims to maximise customer satisfaction, and identifies programs to improve safety and efficiency. Substantial travel within the UK is required, with a car provided for this national role.

To be successful in this role you will need previous experience and qualifications to deliver mandatory DVSA/SQA driver CPC and ADR training, along with a valid ADR Training Certificate (2, 3, 8 minimum, refreshed every 5 years). Candidates must have a proven track record in a safety-first environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Preferably, you should have classroom training experience, good time management and the ability to plan and prioritise tasks, as well as adaptability to change. The role also demands the capability to work remotely and travel as needed. IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office programs like Excel and Word, and strong administrative skills are desirable.

What You'll Get In Return

For this role you will be offered a permanent contract alongside an annual salary of £50,000 - £54,000 DOE. The role comes with a company car/ car allowance due to required travel, as well as a bonus scheme of up to 7% of salary based on overall business performance.
