Your missions

Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst for our client in the Financial Services industry. This contract to hire position is located in Irving, TX. 2 days onsite and 3 days remote is preferred. Will consider 100% remote.

W2 Hourly pay range: $60-70/hr DOE 
W2 Status:
Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across various corporate functions and departments to identify and document their specific document management needs.
  • Document Type Identification: Analyze and categorize document types by corporate function or department, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all document types.
  • Document Attributes Definition: Define document attributes and meta data for each document type, such as title, document date, summary text, document owner, retention periods, regulatory requirements, and legal requirements, security and access control, etc.
  • Document Life Cycle Management: Define and document the life cycle of documents from creation to disposition, including retention periods and disposition methods.
  • Metadata Management: Develop and maintain a robust metadata schema to ensure accurate and efficient document retrieval and management.
  • Cognitive Search Implementation: Specify requirements for cognitive search capabilities to enhance document search and retrieval using AI and machine learning technologies.
  • Records Management: Define records management features, including retention periods, regulatory requirements, and legal compliance.
  • Access Controls: Specify access control requirements to ensure secure and appropriate access to documents based on user roles and permissions.
  • Regulatory and Legal Compliance: Ensure that all document management processes comply with relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and requirements.
  • Workflow Design: Identify and document workflow requirements by document type including document creation, review, approval, distribution processes, SLAs and escalation paths, and access controls.
  • Integration: Document integration requirements of the EDMS with enterprise and external systems to ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability..
  • Compliance: Define all relevant regulatory and legal requirements by document type and ensure requirements are implemented within the EDMS.
  • Documentation: Create detailed specifications and documentation for the EDMS platform.
  • Training and Support: Document training and support requirements for the EDMS. 
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on document management systems on SharePoint. 
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of document life cycle management, metadata, cognitive search, and records management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of document management principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements related to document management. 
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with enterprise document management systems.
  • Familiarity with integration tools and techniques.
