Sourcing Analyst

Client is seeking a Senior Sourcing Analyst for a project-based role focusing on Cost of Goods (COGS) reduction initiatives, starting immediately. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to manage and implement COGS projects within the Beauty Sourcing team.

Responsibilities:

• Support COGS initiatives, exploring cost competitiveness with new and existing vendors.
• Scope and validate initiatives, including competitive quoting and costing.
• Manage COGS projects to ensure effective progress and results.
• Facilitate Value Engineering (VE) brainstorm and ideation sessions.
• Analyze and mitigate cost increase requests, supporting negotiations.
• Maintain and track COGS initiatives with Beauty Ops & Brand partners.
• Reconcile unit volumes, rates, timing, and track overall progress of initiatives.
• Actualize and reconcile initiatives into Price Point Variance or Average Unit Cost.
• Support publication of results in coordination with Steering Committee and PPV Monthly Finance meetings.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills, drive, and excellent communication.
• Experience in Project Management and COGS reduction initiatives.
• Familiarity with the Beauty Industry is a plus.
• Hybrid work setup with in-office presence approximately 40% of the time.
• 40 hours per week.
• Company-provided computer.
