Your missions

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND TEAM
pacemaker is growing rapidly, and so are our applications & products. As an emerging SaaS company, we are not only expanding our product offering, but also exploring new areas of development. You will become an integral part of the product engineering team. The TechStack consists of Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Github, GitHub Actions and Flux and many other components that are continuously evolving.

Take an active role in shaping our engineering culture and the future of our products - become an indispensable part of our team!
YOUR TASK
  • You will work closely with our product team to design and implement cloud architectures and environments.
  • The focus is on actively contributing to the design and development of our infrastructure in the cloud and contributing your knowledge and ideas.
  • As a contact person for project teams and the product team, you are an expert for technical questions and support the implementation of new requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging infrastructure, network and operating system problems are a matter of course for you.
  • The introduction, implementation and automation of security standards in the infrastructure and application are also on your agenda.
  • You will support the selection, coordination and implementation of certification programs (ISO/SOCKS etc.) and penetration tests.
YOUR PROFILE
  • In addition to a degree in (business) informatics or an IT apprenticeship, you have experience in IT operations, ideally also in platform development.
  • You are familiar with terms such as infrastructure-as-code, continuous integration/deployment/delivery, microservices and serverless, and you have built decoupled systems and microservice architectures.
  • You have already gained practical experience with cloud architectures and have acquired in-depth knowledge in this area.
  • You have a natural aversion to routine tasks and love to automate them.
  • Personally, you embody an agile mindset, pronounced curiosity and a high willingness to learn. You are not afraid to question the status quo in order to get the best out of it.
WHAT AWAITS YOU!
You will receive a high-performing MacBook from us, which you can use to do most of your work remotely in Germany or Portugal.
