Your missions

In this role

As the Mobile Product Manager, you will lead and inspire the VetConnect PLUS Mobile agile development team by owning the backlog, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies, and fostering a trusted environment with developers and testers. You will ensure that high-value projects are delivered to market successfully by partnering with business leaders, UX research and design, customer support and marketing teams.

You will also drive the VetConnect PLUS Mobile strategy, expanding the team's role by investing in enabling services and leveraging our user base to enhance the IDEXX veterinary software ecosystem. You will work closely with the VetConnect PLUS Web product and design teams to align feature implementations appropriately. Finally, you will contribute to the Product Operations function of the larger VetConnect PLUS Front-End team by planning UX research and product experiments, maintaining data dashboards, and updating roadmaps and product documentation.

What you will need to succeed

  • Mobile Technology Expertise: Develop and manage mobile products, understanding the unique value and constraints of each platform.
  • Collaborative Skills: Work effectively with a diverse team, including developers, testers, analysts, and stakeholders in business, marketing, and user experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Commit to personal growth and enhancing team processes.
  • Roadmap Management: Prioritize and balance feature delivery to ensure timely and high-quality results.
  • Requirement Translation: Bridge the gap between business needs and technical requirements, defining both customer-facing and backstage needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Interact directly with customers to understand their needs through interviews, visits, and usability testing.
  • Product Operations: Use product analytics to make informed decisions and contribute to broader stakeholder investigations using our data.
  • Presentation and Demo Support: Help create presentations, demos, and product updates for training and marketing.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on company products, services, and industry developments. Participate in relevant industry groups and forums.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
