Senior Accountant 1

This role as Senior Accountant involves leveraging your expertise in US Finance and Accounting to train and develop team members, improve accounting services, and assist with client onboarding. You’ll collaborate across departments to enhance training processes, create financial reports, and conduct client meetings in the US.

Responsibilities:  

• Explain US Finance and Accounting concepts, software and services  
• Use your accounting expertise to train, develop member’s quality work and be part of project improving accounting services to clients 
• Assist members and clients during onboarding process 
• Collaborate with other departments to improve training and onboarding processes 
• Create financial reports and process documentation 
• Conduct meetings with clients in the United States 

Qualifications: 

• Exceptional communication in English - both verbal and written 
• Passion for training members with at least 2+ years of leadership experience 
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in Finance and Accounting with exposure in US GAAP, end-to-end accounting processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting and analysis 
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint 
• Experience in using Xero, Gusto, or equivalent accounting and payroll software 
• Customer-service oriented, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks 
• Demonstrated experience in dealing with expectations of US clients  
• Eager to learn new skills and technologies 
• Must have experience working on a graveyard shift as an offshore Accountant 
• Must have own equipment with complete accessories (webcam and headphones) at home
