Your missions

About the role: As a Security Consultant, you will be given end-to-end ownership over workstreams within Dataprise client engagements, working individually and as part of a team to solve our clients’ problems and assist them with opportunities.

Security Consultants work on a variety of cybersecurity projects, applying general consulting skills to support the strategic cybersecurity, technology and digital risk, and technical security needs of our clients. We are looking for individuals who can address these issues and opportunities through leveraging best practices and standards, and leading tools and techniques, regardless of prior experience with the exact tools – someone quick to learn and eager to lean-in and develop the specialized knowledge necessary to solve our clients’ problems.

  • Linking Technology and Business: Understanding how technology supports business strategies and identifying the cybersecurity implications that come with it.
  • Tailoring Recommendations: Analyzing cybersecurity standards, regulations, and best practices, and crafting customized recommendations for each client's unique environment.
  • Communicating Clearly: Simplifying and communicating complex cybersecurity concepts, ensuring they emphasize business value.
  • Driving Transformation: Support cybersecurity transformation initiatives and guiding organizations as they adapt their culture and processes.
  • Conducting Assessments: Performing cybersecurity assessments, including gap analysis and roadmap development, across various contexts like organizational security, regulatory alignment, and cloud security initiatives.
  • Developing Strategies: Creating cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures that protect both internal infrastructures and customers.
  • Understanding Data Protection: Recognizing the importance of data protection, security, and privacy, and providing guidance accordingly.
  • Engaging Leadership: Working with leadership teams and facilitating cybersecurity awareness workshops for boards and senior management.
  • Ensuring Resilience: Enhancing operational resilience through incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Supporting Business Development: Creating visually appealing proposals and customer presentations with vertical and horizontal logic showcasing an awareness of the interplay of business and security considerations
What Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
  • 2+ Years of client-facing professional service experience at a leading consulting firm, technology firm, or have commensurate experience.
  • An understanding of cybersecurity concepts, frameworks, standards, and tools.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
  • In pursuit of (or holder of) relevant certifications (CISA, CISM, or CISSP)
