We are looking for a New Client Acquisition Specialist to serve in a sales production role. This position is responsible for qualifying and scheduling prospective clients with Wealth Enhancement Group (WEG) advisors and facilitating a best-in-class prospect experience throughout the scheduling and meeting process.
This position is fully remote, with a preference for someone in either the Pacific or Mountain time zone. We're looking for someone available between 8:30am-5:00pm (local time) and offer voluntary opportunities to work occasional evenings and Saturday mornings as lead flow dictates.
The target base salary for this role is $56,000 - $65,000, plus commissions and company incentives.
We select our initial compensation target using national compensation survey data. When we make an offer, we then factor in things like tenure, performance, and geographic location to come up with the most accurate numbers. Primary Job Functions
Develops prospective clients, initializing the advisor meeting process
Screens prospective clients via phone, email, and SMS and sets high-quality introductory appointments for WEG advisors
Meets or exceeds production requirements
Follows predefined sales cadences and performs each piece of outreach that is assigned in a timely manner
Works directly with financial advisors and their support staff to ensure a smooth prospect handoff from NCT sales (new client team) to the advisor team
Supports lead generation campaigns: ability to take calls during campaigns including some weekend mornings during radio promos and occasional weekend calling (volunteer basis, not required)
National travel to local new client lunch and dinner seminars as requested
Communicates the company’s differentiators (planning process, products, and services)
Partners with greater marketing organization to understand and leverage WEG’s brand and content to improve prospect communication and results
Understands the current marketing campaigns and events
Understands and intelligently communicates WEG’s value proposition to prospects
Understands and intelligently communicates WEG’s service offerings (planning, investment options; insurance, tax, etc.) to prospects
Has general knowledge of financial planning industry and stays current on markets trends and educational information
Follows team processes and procedures
Follows all team processes to the best of their ability and actively communicates any confusion or issues
Logs all activity accurately and honestly
Able to quickly learn new processes and adapt to changes in existing processes
Complies with all WEG and affiliated companies’ along with WEG’s Broker/Dealer compliance policies and procedures
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, finance, economics, or related field
Prior sales experience required, preferably related to finance/financial planning
Strong phone presence with ability to clearly communicate with others
Follows processes/instructions
Prioritizes workflow and projects; able to work with deadlines and be flexible
Works as a team member; positive solution-focused attitude
Establishes trust and strong relationships with advisor teams
Travel up to 25%
