Job description

Your missions

C2 Labs is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and scaling our cloud infrastructure, designing and implementing deployment pipelines, and collaborating with our development team to deliver high-quality software to our clients.

Responsibilities:

The Senior DevOps Engineer will manage and scale our cloud infrastructure on AWS. Design and implement deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI. The Senior DevOps Engineer will also collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient architectures. Design and implement automated monitoring and alerting systems using tools like CloudWatch or Datadog. The DevOps Engineer will manage and troubleshoot network and server issues as well as implement security and compliance best practices. The DevOps Engineer will continuously improve infrastructure and processes through automation and tooling.

This position requires some travel to on premises, this is NOT 100% remote.
This position is a 1099 position for use on upcoming new projects

Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen
DOE experience is preferred
Q clearance is preferred (the ability to obtain a Q Clearance is required)
Must be able to pass a drug screening
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field
Experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Experience with deployment pipelines using Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI
Experience with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes or ECS
Experience with monitoring and alerting systems using CloudWatch or Datadog
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Must have extensive On-prem and Cloud experience.
