What are important things that YOU need to know about this role?

  • This is a newly created position!
  • Seeking an experienced product leader who understands the Medicare member experience and CMS compliance requirements around Medicare and Medicare Advantage. 
  • Represent the product with clients, at tradeshows and become our subject matter expert within our leadership team. 

What will YOU be doing for us?  The position will be responsible for the development, management, and enhancement of our dental product portfolio within the Medicare Advantage space. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, compliance, and finance, to ensure our dental products meet regulatory requirements, deliver exceptional value to our members, and align with our company’s strategic objectives.

What will YOU be working on?   

  • Assess and strengthen SKYGEN’s capabilities to serve this market, and identify and recommend Enterprise System functionality.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of dental products and service offerings for Medicare Advantage plans.
  • Operate as a project owner.
  • Ensure that SKYGEN’s Medicare Advantage dental products and service offerings are innovative, competitive, and meet the needs of our target demographic.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Medicare Advantage dental landscape. Use insights to inform product strategies and process/system enhancements.
  • Participate on NADP Operations and Product work teams with a focus on Medicare Advantage products.
  • Ensure all dental products comply with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) regulations and other relevant guidelines.
  • Stay updated on changes in CMS regulations and adjust product offerings as necessary.
  • Work with internal teams including marketing, operations, finance, and customer service to support product launches, drive member engagement, and resolve any issues related to dental products.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for dental products.
  • Analyze performance data and member feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive product optimization.
  • Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for the dental product portfolio. Identify growth opportunities and recommend strategies to expand market share and enhance member satisfaction.
  • Oversee the budget for Medicare Advantage dental product development and management.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial targets.
  • Manage relationships with dental care providers, third-party vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Participate in internal training sessions as a Medicare Advantage Dental expert; help employees understand the product’s unique features and SKYGEN’s product and service offerings.
  • Build and deliver presentations that highlight SKYGEN’s unique capabilities to serve this market.
  • Collaborate with other SKYGEN leaders to grow this market.
  • Support sales activities and client presentations as a subject matter expert.

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Medicare Advantage or dental products.
  • Proven track record of successful product development and management.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage regulations, dental care industry standards, and healthcare market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with CMS guidelines and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong project management abilities, with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with product management software and tools.

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GREAT candidate? 

  • Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring tools is advantageous.

The salary range and midpoint is listed below for your reference. Please keep in mind that your education and experience along with your knowledge, skills and abilities are taken into consideration when determining placement within the range.

Compensation Range:

$147,130.00 - $220,695.00

Compensation Midpoint:

$183,912.00
