What you’ll do

  •  Assist, support, and monitor the implementation of the site preventive EHS strategy to achieve zero injury workplace and zero negative environmental impact in Signify facility.
  •  Execute Leader Standard Work for Safety in line with Signify EHS Resources standard, including daily site walkthroughs, daily safety talks, employee observations.
  •  Site EHS Committee meeting participation.
  •  Ensure that the workplace is monitored and is fully in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and Signify standards.
  •  Ensure that Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are maintained, and risks communicated to employees.
  •  Ensure that all accident reports are recorded in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.
  •  Carry out / lead investigations of all accidents, first aid cases and nearmiss incidents with severe injury potential. Ensure robust deep dive to identify real root causes and defense lines (preventive processes) failures.
  •  Record the findings on the relevant regulatory forms as well as in the Signify Corporate EHS reporting system.
  •  Ensure the results of EHS inspections and investigations are followed with corrective actions are taken.
  •  Bring site related EHS matters to the attention of the site EHS manager and site management at regular intervals.
  •  Ensure that an adequate programs of EHS training are established and that the strong EHS culture is encouraged amongst employees.
  •  Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention of the Management, any relevant new legislation.
  •  Ensure that all EHS assessments as required by Corporate EHS and legislation are conducted at relevant intervals. Maintain related records.

What you’ll need

  • University degree in EHS domain
  • 3 5 years of related experience in electric, electronic, chemical or construction industry
  • Good knowledge of ISO 14001, 45001, 9001
  • In depth knowledge of country legislation and EHS risk control procedures
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically
  • Communicative in English
