Overview:

Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP is an accounting and financial consultancy firm serving the accounting, tax and strategic growth needs of today's high net worth individuals and the businesses they control. Founded in 1949, the Firm has deep roots in the Bay Area's technology and business communities.

We have open positions available in our Corporate Audit practice. Managers will work alongside our auditors at all levels as they serve our progressive client base. Clients may include technology startups, established privately-held entities, or public companies. Our environment enables you to interact directly with sophisticated clients and gain insight into what is up and coming in Silicon Valley. Our client base spans a wide range of industries in various stages of maturity focusing primarily in the technology-based space. 

 

Continuation of California-based, remote work arrangements will be considered and formalized on an individual basis.  Alternatively, you may choose to be based out of our San Jose, San Francisco or San Diego office, should you reside near our offices or wish to relocate.  Start dates are flexible.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead client audit engagements, which include planning, executing, directing and completing financial audits
  • Manage multiple engagements and supervising teams of 2-4 staff
  • Thorough understanding and practice of AIPCA, PCAOB and generally accepted auditing standards, common audit procedures and techniques  
  • Supervise, train and mentor associates and interns
  • Research and analyze financial statement and audit related issues
  • Report to Senior Managers, Directors and Partners
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in business, accounting, or with an emphasis in accounting
  • California CPA certification/active license 
  • 5+ years of experience in a public accounting role, or combination of public accounting and focused financial audit experience with private and/or public entities
  • Experience acting as primary client contact 
  • Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude
  • Dedication to superior client service

The salary range for this position is $103,000 - 175,000.  Highest range for most qualified candidates
