Summary:

The Test & Release and Forensics Program Manager is responsible for driving test and release activities, as well as managing bugs and issues across Torc Robotics. This role requires collaboration across multiple departments to ensure the successful delivery of safe and reliable operating systems. The Program Manager will define and execute test & release mechanisms, while also establishing and driving bug and issue management processes that enable rapid resolution of problems. The role demands a high level of stakeholder engagement across all disciplines and levels of the organization, including regular communication with senior leaders up to the C-suite.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to define and execute test & release strategies, ensuring alignment with engineering, regulatory, operations, and safety objectives.
  • Develop and implement a robust bug and issue management framework that prioritizes swift problem resolution and clear communication across divisions.
  • Scope complex initiatives related to test, release, and forensics, ensuring all cross-functional dependencies and risks are identified and managed effectively.
  • Continuously monitor and report on the status of test & release activities, as well as bug and issue resolution, through detailed dashboards, metrics, and frequent updates.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure all testing and release activities align with product milestones and overall roadmap objectives.
  • Identify and drive process improvements within test, release, and bug management, focusing on efficiency, transparency, and alignment with Torc’s broader business goals.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to ensure clear understanding and communication of test and release progress, bug issues, and related risks.
  • Leads cross-functional teams to scope complex initiatives, across engineering, regulatory, operations, and safety.
  • Drive the organization to successfully achieve program objectives and measures of success.
  • Clearly articulate status of program assignments through frequent updates, dashboards, and metrics.
  • Engages all appropriate stakeholders to ensure all departments are focused on the highest priority business needs.
  • Works collaboratively across program management, technical program management, and product management teams to ensure a strong partnership
  • Regular communication of status, risks, and metrics to senior leadership, up to and including the executive leadership team, as well as out to a broad set of organization-wide stakeholders
  • Sufficient technical depth to lead project scoping, understand internal dependencies, conduct cost estimation on programs; and develop and execute program management mechanisms to ensure alignment cross-functionally on objectives, decisions made, program milestones, risks & opportunities, and key input status tracking.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Demonstrates competences and technical proficiencies typically acquired through BS+ 6+ years of experience, MS+ 3+ years of experience, or PHD 1+ years of experience.
  • Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline; conducts complex, important work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment.
  • Requires transportation to locations away from the site. Valid US Driver’s license with a safe driving record required. May travel occasionally to other sites. May have the opportunity for international travel, as required.

$153,200$183,800 USD
