The role

The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to the achievement of branch objectives by assisting the Claims Team to achieve better than market claims performance and the coaching and development of staff and teams.

 

You'll be responsible for

  • Ensuring effective portfolio management through proactively contributing to the target setting analysis and monitoring of portfolio performance/trends and recommending strategy to improve performance.
  • Analysing monthly and quarterly reports and reports on trends and observations.
  • Maintaining awareness of industry developments/trends that will impact portfolio performance.
  • Supporting teams in the development and execution of claims performance plans.

 

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/ or industry accreditations.
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation.
  • Experience in developing claims strategy through to execution.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse team members.
  • Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and empower people to develop individual and team potential.
