Our Engineering  team is growing and looking for an enthusiastic Director of Software Engineering to join our Care team!

The U.S. Healthcare industry is going through a transformation. In this role you'll be working on the Care Team who is building the future of musculoskeletal health in the country as a part of our new Pathways product. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Software Engineering.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead and mentor remote engineering teams of between 10-15 engineers focused on Learning Management System and Growth areas, driving efficiency and innovation across diverse product lines.
  • Ensure timely software delivery, collaborating with the VP of Engineering on technical investments to build tools for healthcare systems, practitioners, and internal users.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, fostering excellence and aligning with product roadmaps.
  • Cultivate partnerships with stakeholders across diverse functional areas, including Product Management, Design, Quality, and commercial leadership.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation aligned with an organization's mission and strategic goals, including evaluating and selecting solutions to address business challenges.
  • Drive technical strategy, aligning architecture with long-term objectives and facilitating collaboration.
  • Delegate effectively while upholding accountability, recruit top talent, and nurture technical excellence.

Requirements 

  • 8+ years of engineering experience with 4+ years in team management, focusing on providing easy access to high-quality healthcare.
  • Experience working in a healthcare-related field and familiarity with healthcare technology
  • Demonstrate proficiency in modern web and mobile development.
  • Show a mission-driven approach, dedicated to MedBridge’s mission of improving healthcare.
  • Foster collaboration across teams and organizational boundaries for product development, thriving in dynamic environments with shifting priorities and rapid changes.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, adept at conveying technical concepts effectively.
  • Be self-driven, capable of managing multiple projects with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Salary Range: 

$190,000-$265,000 + 10% bonus

At MedBridge, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within this range is informed by the candidate's skills, capabilities and experience.
