RF Engineer

Our client, a leading global IT service provider, is recruiting for RF Engineer to join their business in Europe.

Responsibilities: 

• As the technical expert on Nokia network, routinely focus the following key activities:
  

• Analysis of Network performance issues
  

• Implement network changes as per the CR process
  

• Support new Network node integrations and Acceptance.
  

• Provide the network parameter and feature audit and provide the optimization proposal.
  

• Able to verify and execute the plan provided by the planning team.
  

• Identify root cause of network quality issues and KPI problems, provide the optimization proposal.
  

Desired profile & Job Knowledge: 

• Strong working experience on Nokia Radio Access technologies (planning & optimization) +5 years required
  

• Knowledge on R24 Nokia LTE, 5G RAN products, feature/parameter optimization is a must.
  

• In depth trouble-shooting capability from analysis of network statistics and drive test logs
  

• Strong working experience on complex technical discussions with customer
  

• Engineering Graduate in Telecommunication/Relevant experience in RF Planning and Optimization activities.
  

• Familiar with RF KPIs (formulas, aggregation, threshold) for both OSS and DT
  

• Radio Planning and Optimization of LTE/ 5G network to troubleshoot and improve KPI on Radio Optimization of SRAN, 5G/LTE networks for site and cluster level.
  

• Knowledge and Practice of Post Processing tools (TEMS Discovery, Actix, or equivalent.)
  

• Knowledge and Practice of Planning tool (Atoll, Asset, MapInfo or equivalent)
  

• Familiar with Nokia NMS system, have practical experience on script generation and implements.
  

• Can do the routine network operation based on the NOKIA NMS system.
  

• Understanding the Call Flow with Post Processing Skill and Layer 3 Analysis.
  

Soft skills: 

• Analytical skills like logical thinking, problem solving & handling assignments are mandatory
  

• Excel, report generation, trend and analysis is mandatory
  

• Fluency in English Language oral and written communication skills are must. French is a plus.
  

• Having good project management skills.
