This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Sr. Data Analyst contractors with a strong background in scripting and data visualization to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced reporting and low-level scripting and automation design & development. Proficiency in PowerBI, Alteryx, advanced Excel (some understanding of SQL, MS Azure, and programming languages such as Python or R). A good understanding of product data, business acumen, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry knowledge is a plus.
Advanced Reporting and Data Visualization: The role requires creating sophisticated reports and dashboards using tools like PowerBI, Alteryx, and advanced Excel. The candidate would focus on transforming complex datasets into actionable insights and clear visual representations.
Scripting and Automation: The candidate would be responsible for designing and developing automation scripts using tools and languages like Python, R, and potentially SQL. This would include automating data processing workflows and optimizing reporting processes.
Data Analysis and Business Acumen: The role involves analyzing product data and providing insights that support business decision-making. A deep understanding of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, along with a strong grasp of product data and business strategies, would be essential.
Collaboration and Problem-Solving: The Sr. Data Analyst would collaborate closely with various teams to understand data needs, provide strategic recommendations, and solve complex problems related to data analytics and reporting.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with cloud platforms like MS Azure, along with knowledge of database systems and programming, would be key for integrating data sources and enhancing data management and analysis.
