Direct Procurement - SAP Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) Subject Matter Expert

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a Solventum career.

As the Direct Procurement - SAP Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) SME, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Being an expert in Direct Procurement processes and technology, with a focus on SAP Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) and SAP Materials Management (MM).
• Contributing to and leading the deployment of ERP technology and other IT solutions across Source-to-Pay processes, specifically in Direct Procurement.
• Participating in cross-functional projects that support and deploy key capabilities across procurement processes towards a simpler, faster and more competitive source-to-pay organization
• Providing support to stakeholders regarding Direct Procurement inquiries, e.g., purchase orders, supplier collaboration, subcontractors, and materials management.
• Collaborating with other technical resources to ensure ERP and other Procurement technology solutions are operating optimally, monitoring potential issues and offering solutions with minimal downtime impact to operations.
• Serve as program manager for Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) technology deployment with responsibility to:
  • Manage alignment of the governance principles agreed upon and execution of the project
  • Provide business and technical guidance and facilitate rapid completion of scoping and requirements gathering
  • Provide timely resolution and escalation of any Cloud Service issues and coordinate sign-off on all project output
  • Manage communication plan development and cloud Service-wide communications to key stakeholders
  • Confirm resource training needs are addressed, and any issues or gaps are escalated to Cloud Service lead
  • Support and coordinate the internal change management program
• Supporting the TSA exit to future state Healthcare platforms that provide the next level of service and capability for healthcare customers, vendors, and employees.
• Working in and across multiple teams in a high-pressure and high-visibility environment to ensure successful procurement process operations for the Healthcare organization.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university OR
• High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in procurement processes and IT solutions
• Seven (7) years of experience in procurement processes (direct sourcing, supplier management, materials management) and its supporting IT Solutions in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Ability to work through ambiguity in a highly visible and high-pressure environment.
• Excel in effectively communicating across multiple levels of the organization.
• ERP deployment and ERP process knowledge in the procurement space.
• Proficiency in implementing Direct Procurement software solutions such as SAP MM and Ariba SCC.
• Experience in configuring and customizing Direct Procurement systems to meet the organization's specific requirements.
• Knowledge of integration methods and technologies to connect Direct Procurement systems with ERP systems, supplier networks, and other third-party applications.
• Knowledge of global best practices and regulatory requirements related to Direct Procurement processes.
• Understanding of data migration strategies and techniques for transferring data from legacy systems to the new Direct Procurement platforms.
• Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools to extract insights from Direct Procurement data and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for improved decision making.
• Understanding of procurement and materials management processes, including purchase requisitioning, purchase orders, supplier collaboration, and inventory management.
• Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in the Direct Procurement space
• Certification in SAP Supply Chain Collaboration solution
