What you will be doing? 👇

• Creation of technical and/or business focused test cases based on business requirements and the technical design.
• Generate test data
• Generate synthetic test data
• Planning of automated test data generation
• Run / manage results of tests
• Run standard and automated tests
• Create logs and test documentation
• Plan and run new or updated regression test
• Organize use of test tools
• Document variations and carry out the retest after fixing
• Create error messages for the development team and track they have been fixed
• Retest fixed errors

Alternative tasks:

• Automate process that fit for automation (We do not like to much of manual stuff)
• Maintenance of procedures and compliance.
  

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👌

• Good knowledge of Cucumber / Gauge / Selenium
• Experience with creating automation test cases
• English - B2 level (mandatory)

Nice to have:

• Ability to write test cases in Gherkin standard
• Basic knowledge of Bitbucket, Teamcity, Octane, Service Now, BDD

Description of the cluster:

CORE is an acronym for Commerzbank Related Entities. CORE is a group wide static/master data application of Commerzbank AG which focus on person, organization an group views. CORE comprises in different modules like CORE Person, CORE GlobalParty & Verbund and CORE Admin.

The importance of person, organization and group view has grown significantly in the last years because of regulatory requirements and from the sales point of view. It is therefore an integral part of our business model.

Because of new and existing regulatory requirements (i.e. tax requirements, granting of exemption applications, transfer of church tax, FATCA, Basel II and III, etc) it has been decided to incrementally rebuild the person, organization and group views within CORE.

The CORE applications are running by the cluster “Customer Data Management”. The cluster “Customer Data Management” maintain mainly applications about static/master data and MIFID II for Commerzbank AG.

Description of the position:

In your role as an Automation Test enginer operation enginer you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, developing, and updating automated and manual tests.

Your main task is to ensure high stability of application on environments as well as necessary adaptation for upcoming releases. Including providing proper test documentation. Provide necessary preventive actions needed to have stable production rollouts without incidents.

We value your personal skills but prefer to use them to automate processes (where possible) rather than manual work (still sometimes needed).
