Financial Systems Data Analyst

St. Onge Company is looking for a Financial Systems Data Analyst who can managing our internal Deltek VantagePoint system to analyze data and generate reports and dashboards, as well as creating custom reports with third-party tools as needed. Additionally, the role includes working with both internal teams and external clients in our expanding Deltek consulting practice. Responsibilities may cover data migrations, user training, and developing solutions. An effective candidate should be focused, capable of handling various tasks, and prioritizing them to meet the needs of both internal and client-related projects.

This is a remote role. 

Experience Requirement:   

• Bachelor's degree in IS/IT, Business, Accounting, or related program; or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Deltek Vision, Vantagepoint
• Understanding project accounting in a professional services organization is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and SSRS report writing experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and ETL processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reports and dashboards using standard Vantagepoint functionality, SSRS, Power BI, Excel, and other tools as needed. 
• Perform data migration support (including extracting, transforming, and loading data), data merges, and data changes using MS SQL, Excel, Python, and other tools.
• Provide support of Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint applications and processes to end users and clients.
• Perform technical troubleshooting and resolution.
• Works with customers, project managers, functional consultants, or software support to analyze data, identify problems, and propose solutions for customer challenges.
