• Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in 6 month paid co-op opportunities at our site in Reedsville, PA. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

  Your role:

• Provide technical support to resolve manufacturing and quality problems, including yield and nonconforming product.  Drive corrective action with appropriate and detailed follow up.
• Identify, analyze and implement cost reduction projects, cycle time improvements, and lean manufacturing techniques to improve product cost structure.
• Execute design and process verification activities, including statistical analysis, similarity, and testing.
• Work collaboratively with SCE to support/develop and transition new processes into manufacturing.
• Identify, specify, and coordinate installation of new manufacturing equipment and upgrades for process improvement. 
• Complete process validation for new equipment

You're the right fit if:

Must be an engineering student currently enrolled in a technical degree program.  Typical majors include: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Science, and Biomedical Engineering  Must have very strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Must be fluent with MS Office software.  Experience with statistics is a plus. You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.
