Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

The Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. The candidate would collaborate with business analysts and with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The role would involve building and customizing Power Apps, creating workflows, and developing data integrations. Overall, this would be a crucial role in leveraging the Power Platform to streamline business processes and drive efficiency within the organization.

What you will be doing:

  • Designing, developing, securing, and implementing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, for prototyping / production use.

  • Collaborating with business analysts and with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Building and customizing Power Apps canvas and model-driven apps, creating workflows and business process flows.

  • Developing and maintaining data integrations and connectors with various systems and databases.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Power Platform applications.

  • Conducting testing and quality assurance to ensure the reliability and performance of the developed solutions.

  • Providing technical guidance to business stakeholders on leveraging Power Platform capabilities effectively.

  • Cooperate with the Power Platform operations team on the lifecycle management, and on troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Power Platform applications.

  • Regular reporting to stakeholders

What we need from you:

  • Proficiency in developing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Strong knowledge of Power Apps canvas and model-driven app development, including customizing forms, views, and entities.

  • Experience in creating workflows, business process flows, and automating business processes using Power Automate.

  • Familiarity with data integration techniques (API, Rest,..), and ability to seamlessly use pre-built connectors or to build custom connectors with various systems and databases.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint Online, Dataverse, SQL.

  • Familiarity with software development stack like .NET, C# or JavaScript.

  • Knowledge of system architectures and business process optimization.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business analysts, and business stakeholders, ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Understanding of network and information security concepts

  • Possessing strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to provide well-documented records,

  • Familiarity with ITIL change management best practices is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A relevant degree, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is a plus

  • Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in a related role, with a reference list of Power Platform solutions built or contributed in building them

  • Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
