Duration: Equivalent to minimum 520 Hours (or 3 months minimum)
Work location: Remote (with hybrid options in Toronto and Chicago only)
Compensation: Hourly (paid in equity compensation equivalent to CAD $32-35/hour)

About the Job:

We are currently seeking an Internal Strategy Intern for a challenging experience-based internship to contribute to an innovative and groundbreaking project in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Are you passionate about strategic planning and looking to make your mark in the industry? Join our dynamic team as we push the boundaries and create a game changer in the world of AI. You will have the unique opportunity to participate in a fully immersive internship where you will contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives within the organization. This is designed largely as a remote placement but can also be a hybrid internship (Chicago or Toronto). In this engagement/applied learning internship, you’ll gain unparalleled experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment, directly interfacing with senior management and contributing to transformative strategic initiatives. It will be a demanding internship and will require you to bring the best version of yourself to the table, but for those who embrace this, it will be a richly rewarding experience as well as a great complement to your academic investment.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in the development and execution of internal strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies that drive growth and efficiency.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor and report on the progress of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with objectives

About You:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s level university program in fields such as Business Administration, Strategic Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Experience with strategic planning and execution, including the ability to lead and manage projects.
• Proficient communication in English (both verbal and written) is required.
• Proficient in strategic tools and methodologies such as SWOT analysis, PEST analysis, or similar.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.

Hiring Process:

3. Video Questionnaire: Candidates who successfully pass the written assessment will be asked to answer 10 additional questions to be submitted in a video format to further evaluate their skills and cultural fit. The ability to video record your answers will be required.
4. Evaluation: Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
5. Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship. After this session, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in if you choose that this internship is for you.
