JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Overview:

The Director of POS and Payment Systems Delivery is responsible for overseeing the delivery and continuous improvement of point-of-sale (POS), payment systems, and payment gateways across Driven Brands. This role involves ensuring that these critical systems are developed, deployed, and maintained efficiently, securely, and in alignment with the overarching goals of the application service delivery organization. 

Key Responsibilities: 

POS and Payment Systems Strategy: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for POS and payment systems that aligns with business requirements and IT service delivery standards. 

  • Evaluate emerging payment technologies and POS solutions to enhance customer transaction experiences. 

Project and Program Management: 

  • Manage the full lifecycle of POS and payment system projects, from inception through delivery and post-implementation support. 

  • Coordinate with project teams, brand CIOs, and the VP of Business Technology to ensure seamless integration of new systems into existing brand environments. 

Operational Leadership and Support: 

  • Ensure robust operational support for POS and payment systems, minimizing downtime and resolving issues promptly. 

  • Establish key performance indicators to monitor system performance and user satisfaction, driving continuous improvements. 

Security and Compliance Oversight: 

  • Ensure all POS and payment systems adhere to relevant security standards, such as PCI DSS, and that all transactions are secure and compliant with regulatory requirements. 

  • Work closely with the security team to implement best practices and respond to any security incidents or vulnerabilities. 

Vendor and Stakeholder Management: 

  • Manage relationships with POS and payment system vendors to ensure they meet Driven Brands' performance and service expectations. 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all POS and payment system stakeholders, providing updates and gathering feedback to drive improvements. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience managing POS systems and payment processing technologies in a multi-brand retail or service environment. 

  • Strong understanding of the retail sales process, payment processing, and compliance requirements. 

  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.

Compensation Range:

$7.25 - $232,300.00

Compensation Frequency:

Annual

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
