Sr. Network Specialist

What You Will Do:

• Manage implementations of WAN Routers, and its related configurations
• Troubleshooting escalated issues with third parties e.g.: WAN Transports, VPN issues
• Packet capturing, troubleshooting on network problems, identifying, and fixing problems.

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in network management
• Strong experience in managing implementations of WAN Routers, and its related configurations
• Expert level skill sets on Software Defined Technologies & Connectivity Links.
• Strong Experience in Client WAN technologies (Cisco, Versa, SDWAN)
• Strong experience in network design

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement
• Certifications in ITIL v3, CCNP-Route or equivalent associate

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
• Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
• Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
• Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
