Recovery Partners, an ARMStrong company, is seeking an engaging and experienced Training Specialist to provide comprehensive initial and ongoing training for our Collection Specialists. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to directly impact the development of both new and existing employees within a small company environment.
The Training Specialist will be responsible for conducting all new hire training. This role will assess our training needs, practices, and available materials with the intent to continually elevate and improve the training program. This includes refining training materials, tutorials, instructions, and online resources such as modules and guides. New hire training sessions will be fully remote, utilizing interactive online resources and "face-to-face" webcam interactions.The ideal candidate will be a confident public speaker and a dedicated educator, well-versed in the latest tools and resources to enhance employee training and performance. The Training Specialist will collaborate with management to identify skill gaps, develop strategies to address them, and continuously improve training effectiveness. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing engaging training programs for all new Collections Specialists, and maintaining up-to-date training content. The Training Specialist will track progress to ensure all new hires are fully equipped to succeed in their roles.
While prior experience in collections or insurance is preferred, it is not required for this role. You will learn the business as you go, which involves spending time working as a Collections Specialist. This hands-on approach includes managing accounts, listening to calls, and following procedures to fully understand the business before you begin teaching it. This required immersion period ensures that you gain the practical knowledge needed to effectively train others.
Requirements
- Must be open and willing to learn the business of insurance subrogation through an immersion period of working as a Collections Specialist
- Ensure all new hires are thoroughly introduced to company policies, procedures, culture, and role-specific responsibilities through engaging and well-structured training sessions
- Create and maintain a diverse range of training materials, including manuals, guides, e-learning modules, and videos
- Develop, manage, and deliver a comprehensive onboarding and training program for all new Collections Specialists
- Ability to train both in a group setting and one-on-one basis, encompassing a variety of personality types
- Assess the effectiveness of training program through account and call compliance audits and continuously improve content, delivery methods, and training strategies to enhance the quality metrics of agents
- Collaborate with operational leaders s to stay updated on new procedures, work treatment guidelines, and best practices, ensuring training content is current and relevant
- Act as a well-rounded trainer and expert facilitator, skilled in content creation, design, and delivery, capable of adapting training strategies for remote employees
- Positive, engaging attitude with excellent communication skills
- Strong Office 365 skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Associate degree in education, business, human resources, or related field
