Your missions

Symmetrio is recruiting for their client, a leading medical device and healthcare delivery company, a territory manager in the Houston market with call points in radiology and hospitals. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional procedures as well.

This position is also responsible for providing technical support, training, and communication to customers as needed. You will be responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts within the territory functions and manage third party relationships. The product is established within the industry and there is a new product on the horizon, so new product launch experience will also be valuable.

Responsibilities
  • Exceed revenue goals and other key performance indicators that align with the corporate objectives.
  • Expert at presenting product during in‐person sales calls, hospital visits and tradeshows to all stakeholders.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Responsible for identification of activities to develop and drive sales process within territory.
  • Demonstrate high level of product knowledge gaining clinical support, education on the product, and approval processes through professional sales skills, economic evaluation/analysis, and objection handling to close business.
  • Utilize Salesforce for account planning, leads, and opportunities, while nurturing pipeline and providing reliable business intelligence.
  • Submit all necessary paperwork, including travel itineraries, trip reports, activity reports, monthly reports expense, and service reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in the medical device field with a focus on hospital and radiology.
  • In-depth knowledge of complex medical/hospital sales environments, including long sales cycles.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving quota
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and evolving landscapes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business and strategic planning, including product launches.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Residency within the assigned geographical region.
  • Experience working with Integrated Health Networks (IDN), regional contracts, and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) is very helpful.
