We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. If you are a self-starter with a passion for personalization, sales, and marketing, and have a deep understanding of state-of-the-art technologies, algorithms, and paradigms, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models that drive personalization across various customer touchpoints, enhancing the overall user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales, to integrate ML solutions that optimize marketing strategies and sales performance.
  • Innovate and implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and technologies, ensuring our solutions remain at the cutting edge of the industry.
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and trends that inform the development of targeted marketing campaigns and personalized customer experiences.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the performance of deployed models, ensuring they meet business objectives and scalability requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and data science, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and services.
  • Mentor and collaborate with other engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a similar role, with a focus on personalization, sales, and marketing.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art algorithms and paradigms in machine learning, particularly in recommendation systems, predictive modeling, and customer segmentation.
  • Experience working with large-scale data processing frameworks like Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and scalable ML infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed):

  • Experience in A/B testing, multi-armed bandits, or other experimental methodologies for optimizing marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Prior experience in a startup or innovative tech environment is a plus.

Targeted Base Salary Range:  $142,200 to $216,500

The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
