Job Title: Consumer Engagement Specialist

Job Summary:
The Email Marketing Specialist will be a key player in the development and execution of email and SMS marketing campaigns across Mutual of Omaha Mortgage and Keller Home Loans. This role involves strategizing, planning, and managing daily email and SMS marketing efforts to effectively engage various target audiences, lead nurturing, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall communication goals and brand standards.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a power user of email and SMS marketing platforms, demonstrating expertise in email automation, SMS automation, engagement strategies, and the use of analytics tools to measure the ROI of email and SMS efforts across the organization.
• Manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective execution.  For both our retail and CD sales force.
• Strategize, plan, and manage the day-to-day content of email marketing initiatives to support overall communications goals and brand messaging.
• Build and execute email and SMS campaigns, including list building, segmentation analysis, browser testing, and email publishing.
• Develop, execute, and analyze email and SMS automation workflows tailored to the needs of various branches, lead providers and departments.
• Implement and analyze A/B testing to optimize email and SMS performance and engagement.
• Monitor, track, and report on email and SMS campaign performance, utilizing testing methodologies and detailed results reporting.  
• Regularly present campaign performance reports, updates, and insights to Marketing Managers and other stakeholders, tailoring communication to varying levels of technical expertise.
• Audit email and SMS content to ensure accuracy of links, landing pages, and tracking parameters, delivery, opt out rates, providing creative direction and hands-on execution when necessary.
• Use email and SMS analytics to continuously improve processes and procedures, providing actionable feedback and analysis to branches and departments.
• Act as the lead specialist for other email and SMS marketing positions, offering guidance and direction as needed.

• Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing, including the use of marketing automation tools, analytics platforms and content creation.
• Strong understanding of email and SMS marketing best practices, including list building, segmentation, A/B testing, and campaign analysis.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in campaign execution and reporting.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to diverse audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design and technical teams.
• Experience in financial services or mortgage industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
