The Opportunity:

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for healthcare and a proven track record of managing teams? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to work with our US-based healthcare client and lead a Case Management Team.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring their patients receive the highest quality care by overseeing the daily operations, guiding the team to success, and driving process improvements. Key responsibilities include:

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of Case Managers, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to effectively manage patient care
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and develop personalized professional development plans for team members
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss patient care, share operational updates, and address any challenges the team faces

Operational Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care management team, ensuring all patient follow-up activities are completed efficiently and on time
  • Monitor team workload and case distribution, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance and patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, quality of care, and compliance with industry standards

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the care management team and collaborate with the Director of Care Management to implement changes
  • Analyze data and metrics to track team performance, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and successes
  • Lead initiatives to enhance patient engagement, improve care coordination, and reduce readmission rates

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all case management activities comply with healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and organizational policies
  • Maintain a high standard of care by regularly reviewing case files, patient outcomes, and team performance against established benchmarks
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to conduct audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the care management team and other departments, including IT, HR, and Finance, to address operational needs and support cross-functional initiatives
  • Liaise with external partners, such as healthcare providers, labs, and pharmacies, to ensure seamless coordination of services for patients
    To succeed in this role you will have:
    • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 5+ years in a managerial or supervisory role
    • Experience in care management, case management, or discharge planning, preferably on the payer side.
    • Proven track record of leading and developing teams in a healthcare setting
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
    • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Proficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a related field
    Service Fee:

    Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.

    Hours:

    US Eastern Standard Time (EST) - Monday to Friday - 9am to 6pm
