Your missions

Altruistiq is building a sustainability operating system to support the world’s largest consumer companies on their impact journey. We are growing fast, work with some of the best known brands in the world, and are a global organisation with a team based in over a dozen countries.

Scope of the role

  • Formalise our sales playbook and processes (including RfPs) to create a reliable engine for new revenue generation, with a focus on new logo acquisition, bringing new products to market, and development new customer segments;
  • Support our Account Executives in closing high value opportunities by advising on opportunity prioritisation, deal strategy and tactical execution, as well as deal pricing and structure;
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships with potential key accounts and strategic partners (ensuring Altruistiq’s inclusion in relevant RfPs), as well as ensuring seamless transition of relationship to Key Account team;
  • Help create a healthy, high performing commercial team. This includes recruiting and coaching our sales team, managing the team against targets, and being an effective collaborator with adjacent teams (e.g., marketing, account management);
  • Represent our company publicly (including at events) as our first hire in North America.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong B2B commercial background, with a combination of leading opportunities directly and coaching/managing a team;
  • Experience with consultative sales processes across medium to long deal cycles with deal sizes in excess of $250K - background in selling emerging technology is a benefit;
  • Recent experience working in an early stage software company and supporting its growth from $1m - 15m ARR;
  • Readiness to work in a small, lean, operational team (rather than in a role purely focused on management and strategy);

Note that this role is flexible across two options: Sales Director and Sales VP. The latter variation has a slightly expanded scope. Either role variation would report to our CEO, and we only intend to make one hire at this time.

  • Competitive compensation package, recalibrated routinely in line with market benchmarks;
  • Generous equity package with outsize top-ups for high performers;
  • A supportive culture to enable ongoing learning & development (including dedicated L&D budget of £2,000 per person, per year);
  • Private health and dental insurance for you and your partner/family;
  • Generous pension contribution of 4.5% contributory pension
