Job description

Your missions

We are looking for a talented Platform/DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities:

Manage (and build) projects and hybrid infrastructure;
Configure and maintain internal services;
Build and maintain monitoring systems;
Build and deploy environments;
Drive bare-metal deployment;
Drive performance and integration testing.

Qualifications:

Continuous experience in DevOps/IT system administration for at at least 2-3 years;
Knowledge and practical experience with deployment and administration of Unix/Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu, RHEL/Centos);
Good understanding of common IT security practices;
Experience in building and maintaining hybrid infrastructures;
Experience implementing CI/CD;
Experience with configuration management tools (ansible, saltstack, etc.);
Experience with virtualisation and containerisation tools;
Ability to perform root cause analysis for production errors;
Working knowledge of databases and clustering (SQL, NoSQL);
Proficiency in cloud-based DevOps practices, specifically in Terraform, k8s, IaC, PaC;
Proficient understanding of Git;
Experience with log management tools;
Good skills in scripting languages (Bash, Python, golang, etc.);
Experience with application & infrastructure monitoring in production environment;
Good understanding of a software development process, everyday duties will include cooperation with both SW development and QA teams;
Availability to be on call 24/7 (only in case of a disaster);
Willingness to travel to London office 1 to 2 days per month.

Would be a plus:

Knowledge and practical experience in Advanced Networking including building and supporting local and global networks, ACLs, firewalls, VPN tunnels, advanced routing;
Familiarity with ISO 27001 requirements and CIS benchmarks;
Experience with AWS/GCP stack will be an advantage;
Experience with Microsoft 365 stack will be an advantage;
Experience with k8s will be an advantage;
Experience with NixOS will be an advantage.
