Tasks

As the Managing Director of Mine Direct Minerals, you will be the driving force behind our company’s strategic vision, operational excellence, and market growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement the company's strategic plan to advance its mission and objectives.
Oversee company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.

Business Development:

Identify and develop new business opportunities, including expanding our wholesale network and enhancing our e-commerce platform.
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including mines, distributors, retailers, and industry partners.

Operational Management:

Ensure the efficient and effective operation of all aspects of the business.
Oversee supply chain management, ensuring ethical sourcing and outstanding shipping conditions.

Financial Oversight:

Develop and manage annual budgets, financial plans, and investment strategies.
Monitor financial performance, ensuring profitability and growth.

Team Leadership:

Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, ethical practices, and continuous improvement.

Market Expansion:

Lead initiatives to expand market presence both online and offline.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market share.

Compliance and Ethical Standards:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Uphold the company’s commitment to ethical sourcing and environmental responsibility.

Requirements

Experience in the crystals/minerals industry, with a strong understanding of the market, sourcing practices, and industry trends.
Proven experience in managing and growing e-commerce platforms, with a focus on wholesale operations.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that drive business growth and operational excellence.
Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, financial planning, and performance monitoring.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
