The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Technical Lead to join our team and spearhead the development of Logitech plugins for Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop (PS), Lightroom (Lr), and Premiere Pro (PrPro) and other relevant use case for Logitech products. These plugins are used to create actions that are triggered through Logitech products. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in C#, Lua, and JavaScript, and a passion for creating seamless integrations that enhance user experiences.

- Lead Development Efforts: Oversee the full lifecycle of plugin development for Logitech, from concept through deployment, ensuring high-quality, performant, and reliable plugins.
- Technical Design & Architecture: Design and implement robust software architectures that support Logitech plugins within Adobe and other applications/services, focusing on scalability and maintainability.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to ensure the plugins meet user needs and integrate seamlessly with existing Logitech hardware and software.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and ensure that the development team follows best practices in software engineering.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the project.
- Testing & Debugging: Develop automated tests, perform thorough debugging, and optimize plugins for performance and memory usage across different Adobe applications.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for the plugins, including technical specs, and internal development guides.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software development, particularly in plugin development for Adobe products, and propose improvements to current processes and tools.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
Technical Expertise:
- C# Development: Extensive experience in C# programming, particularly in developing plugins or extensions for desktop applications.
- Adobe Plugin Development: Strong knowledge and experience in developing plugins for Adobe Creative Suite applications, using Lua for Lightroom, JavaScript for Photoshop, or C++ and related tools and APIs.
- Languages: Proficiency in Lua, JavaScript, and related scripting languages and C++.
- API Integration: Experience working with Adobe’s SDKs and APIs to create custom tools and extensions.
Software Development Practices:
- Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira).
- Automated Testing: Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading development teams, mentoring junior developers, and managing project timelines and deliverables.
