Small Business Lending LLC is looking for a
Construction Loan Administrator.
The
Construction Loan Administrator provides Construction Administration oversight to multi-disbursement loans involving any level of construction, renovation, tenant improvement, rehabilitation or similar.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Project and Budget review, pre-closing, assist closers in the closing process and managing the construction administration process until completion.
- Coordinate the processing of loan advances and interest reserve payments.
- Construction monitoring and administration of SBA7(a), SBA 504 and conventional loans.
- Coordinate all site inspections for loan draws relating to the construction loans.
- Budget and draw tracking using Excel workbooks based on the requirements of the loan approval, loan documents, and construction contract (if applicable).
- Careful review of draw request to identify possible budget problems, elevate to supervisors if there are any out of balance issues.
- Review inspection reports and draw documents for accuracy, and for conformity with the budget, loan approval, and Loan Agreement.
- Obtain approval for all draws through the appropriate channels.
- Update ledgers, budgets, and the funding log.
- Become familiar with construction documents.
- Identify and elevate issues contrary to documentation and questions regarding all aforementioned tasks.
- Assist in structuring of loans and closing process.
- Communication with Borrowers, Contractors and internal personnel.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Prefer 5 years of prior work experience, banking, construction, real estate, legal, accounting preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Adhere to schedules.
- Exercise sound judgement, and excellent independent decision-making skills
Education & Certification Requirements
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.
Salary Range: $45,000 to $60,000 per year
