Head of Talent Management:

Head of Talent Management to lead and administer all HR functions both in the U.S. and internationally. This role, reporting directly to the COO and the CEO, requires a talented and capable HR leader with the ability to shape and lead the strategic, long-term people direction of the company, while also taking a hands-on role executing the tactics that drive employee success for this rapidly growing business. This is a role that will have a major impact on the success of the business and is a spectacular opportunity to develop the full breadth of Senior HR skills. This is a unique opportunity to interact closely with the entire Executive Team and the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a full range of HR programs, policies and practices that support the goals and objectives of the company, including all areas of talent management (e.g., recruiting, performance management, staff development and training, retention, compensation, etc), employee relations, benefits, record keeping, culture and people development.
  • Own all aspects of the company’s people activities, maintaining and driving a culture of performance, growth, and collaboration.
  • Develop and foster a corporate culture that positions the company to maximize production and profitability performance.
  • Design and implement ongoing improvements to talent management strategies and programs including recruitment, training and development, engagement, retention and succession.
  • Design the ongoing process and execution of employee onboarding and orientation, and training and development programs to improve enhance employee growth and leadership competencies, communication and effectiveness.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to promote the company’s goals and objectives as well as to contribute to its growth, performance and profitability.
  • Partner with executive team to develop optimal organizational structure that supports growth and scale; participate in strategic and operational planning with the executive team.
  • Continually assess HR policies, procedures and programs, Recommend, communicate and oversee implementation of new policies, internal process and creative ideas.
  • Manage a team of 4-5 people, including individuals internationally to successfully deliver on the HR strategy and drive meaningful impact to the business.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, and 8-12 years of progressively responsible experience working in a nimble, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to effectively lead while also being hands-on and executing on tactics.
  • Experience recruiting for Professional and Technical roles (marketing, sales, finance, technology, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of the interview process, benefits administration, payroll and other operational functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the laws, regulations, policies, procedures and practical application governing the function of HR.
  • Experience with acquisition and/or integration of teams is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills, and confidence to effectively interact with senior management.
  • Strongly self-motivated, with the intellect, curiosity, drive, sense of urgency and energy to help lead the company to success.
