Job Description

Commercial Lines Outside Territory Marketing / Sales Rep needed for a Premium Finance Company- North Los Angeles County – REMOTE, with Travel.

The role involves both business development and managing existing customer relationships. The strategies for obtaining new business opportunities are multifaceted, encompassing telemarketing, direct customer meetings, online exploration, participation in insurance industry events, and leveraging referrals.

  • HOURS: Full-Time Hours, Monday – Friday
  • DURATION: Direct Hire
  • WORKPLACE: Work from home, but this position requires travel on a weekly basis; your mission will be to identify and expand profitable connections within a designated geographical area to include Santa Monica to Glendale North to Ventura
    • It is expected the Territory Marketing / Sales Rep will be out in the field Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday networking with current and new clients.
      • Car allowance provided, plus expenses.
  • PAY: $60,000 - $70,000 base pay + bonus opportunities + possible performance bonus + possible quarterly bonus. To possibly earn $130,000 per year.

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify and connect with new contacts, generating new business opportunities through various methods including cold calling, lead research, prospecting, sales closing, and new customer onboarding and training.
  • Initiate and nurture relationships with potential agencies/brokerages within the assigned territory.
  • Increase loan count, premium, and interest margin by preserving existing relationships and continuously adding new insurance agents.
  • Execute needs assessments for potential and existing customers.
  • Convey technology and service offerings to drive the cultivation and expansion of relationships.
  • Collaborate closely and maintain strong working relationships with Management and support associates, including various Account Executives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience recently working in Commercial Lines Insurance.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a Sales environment.
    • Does not necessarily have to be in the insurance industry, but outside sales experience in Financial Services, Insurance or Marketing would be beneficial.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, including sales CRM’s.
    • Must be driven, a self-starter and self-motivated.
    • Strong communication, presentation, sales and closing skills.
    • Must be detailed and have strong organizational skills.
