Your missions

The Role

Our client is a leading blockchain company. The Quantitative Engineers design and implement algorithms and models that inform and execute trade decisions in various financial markets. They work collaboratively with trading teams to adapt strategies to market changes and new opportunities. This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing the firm's trading capabilities and response to market conditions, contributing significantly to its financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of advanced software applications using Rust.
Design and implement high-performance solutions with a focus on optimizing latency and throughput.
Conduct in-depth code profiling to ensure efficiency and scalability.
Work within Ubuntu environments to develop and maintain robust, scalable software solutions.
Solve complex mathematical problems to improve software performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optimized solutions into our client’s products.
Maintain a self-motivated work ethic, particularly in remote settings, to drive project success.
Provide mentorship to junior developers and offer technical guidance.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in Rust, software optimization, and related technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
You have 3+ years of experience in Rust programming language, and demonstrated expertise in Rust and mathematical algorithm implementation.
Proven experience in speeding up runtime computation, with a solid understanding of techniques and best practices.
Knowledge of mathematical concepts and proficiency in implementing mathematical algorithms.
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and practical experience in applying machine learning algorithms that is applicable in different Web3 runtime environments.
Proficient in software development methodologies, version control systems, and collaborative development tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a diverse audience.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong research mindset, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field and demonstrating a passion for continuous learning.
