We are seeking an experienced DevOps Consultant with a strong focus on GitHub and/or GitLab configuration, pipelines, and migrations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps principles, extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, and a proven track record of successfully migrating GitHub or GitLab projects and repos.
Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.Configure and optimize GitHub or GitLab repositoriesPlan and execute migrations of repositories, issues, and CI/CD pipelines.Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.Provide technical guidance and consultation to clients on best practices for GitHub and GitLab usage.Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and support.Manage project timelines, ensuring that milestones are met and deliverables are completed on schedule.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GitHub and GitLab configurations and pipelines.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on GitHub and/or GitLab.Strong expertise in configuring and managing GitHub and/or GitLab repositories.Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD.Experience with migrating projects and repos between GitHub and GitLab or from Server to Cloud.Solid understanding of version control systems, branching strategies, and code review processes.Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor a team.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Certifications:GitHub Admin, Actions, or Advanced Security certifications highly desiredGitLab CI/CD Associate, or Security Specialist certifications highly desiredWhat We Believe In
