Systems Analyst

Location: 100% remote in USA

Duration: Contract

Rate: DOE

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze End-to-End RIMs process including integrations with other systems and their associated workflows. Identify and document all functionalities and business processes supported by the system.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, project managers and Product Management to gather requirements and understand operational dependencies on OnBase.
  • Conduct interviews and workshops with end-users to capture detailed requirements and pain points related to OnBase functionalities.
  • Evaluate the technical architecture of OnBase Service Flows, including integrations with other systems and data dependencies.
  • Identify and document potential gaps or areas of functionality that would be considered in OnBase upon retiring RIMs.
  • Propose alternative solutions or migration strategies to mitigate the impact of retiring RIMs, ensuring continuity of critical business processes.
  • Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
  • Create detailed documentation, including system diagrams, process flows, and impact analysis reports.
  • Participate in testing and validation of proposed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and are scalable and efficient.
  • Provide support during implementation and post-implementation phases, including user training and troubleshooting.

Required

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Systems Analyst or similar role, with a focus on analyzing and documenting enterprise systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex workflows and business processes.
  • Experience with document management systems like OnBase and understanding of Service Flow configurations.
  • Knowledge of system analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and impact assessment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in creating technical documentation and diagrams using tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
  • Experience in healthcare and an understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management and terminology
  • Able to take workflows from OnBase and move to other tools
  • Can reverse engineer code
  • Able to perform gap analysis of code.

Desired

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
