The Role: Regional Operations Supervisor

As a Regional Operations Supervisor at Revecore, you hold a pivotal position in ensuring hospitals receive accurate compensation for the services they provide. Your role primarily is responsible for leadership and management of the daily workflow of the assigned region.

Training:

Our comprehensive training begins on your first day and lasts 90 business days. It is led by instructors and incorporates interactive discussions and hands-on activities to accommodate diverse learning preferences.

As a Regional Operations Supervisor, you will:

  • Interview, hire, train, audit and review team members
  • Lead, supervise, motivate and monitor team members to ensure compliance with Revecore policies, procedures and standards
  • Advise Area management of any workflow, personnel, client or carrier issues or improvement opportunities both within the region and in other operational departments
  • Support and assist team members with difficult issues concerning work, co-workers, clients and/or carriers; offer suggestions to assist in process of underpayment reviews and collections
  • Ensure team successfully achieves Revecore quality, productivity and collection goals
  • Participate in workflow examination or special projects as directed by management
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, carriers and Revecore personnel
  • Maintain regular contact with necessary parties regarding claims status including payors, clients, managers and other Revecore personnel
  • Direct claims to and coordinate and support Revecore specialty units
  • Attend client, department and company meetings
  • Prepare and submit correspondence such as letters, emails, online inquiries, appeals, adjustments, reports and payment posting
  • Perform duties and responsibilities of Underpayment Analysts as needed and instructed by Area Manager
  • Comply with federal and state laws, company policies and procedures

  • Have 5 years of experience in an operational setting, preferably in managed care of hospital patient accounts
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Possess technical proficiency to work on multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
  • Can maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics
  • Have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to identify underpayments and discrepancies
  • Have a working knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement methodologies
  • Can navigate and interpret various payer policies, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance guidelines.
  • Have experience with healthcare billing software and databases (EPIC, Cerner, Meditech)
  • Have familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks governing healthcare reimbursement, such as HIPAA, CMS regulations, and state-specific requirements.
