Location: Remote - USA
As an Azure Infrastructure Engineer at Revecore, you will:
Leverage your Azure expertise in automation and scripting to meet our evolving needs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Data Engineering and Data Science teams to develop and implement workflows that drive Revecore's growth and productivity. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, and managing Azure infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
The role:
Core Azure Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, virtual networks, and related services.
- Cloud networking including On-Prem to Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud networking.
- Design, configure, implement, and maintain IAM and RBAC.
- Azure Key Vault integration and secrets management.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools like PowerShell, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and other automation tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and maintenance processes.
Manage Azure Environment:
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions and monitor Azure infrastructure performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with security teams to establish, implement, and maintain security measures and compliance controls within Azure environments to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Design, implement, and test disaster recovery plans and solutions to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or disasters.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with Azure infrastructure.
You’ll be successful if you have:
- Proven experience as an Azure Infrastructure Engineer and a strong understanding of Azure services, architecture, and best practices to include:
- Azure Virtual Machines
- Azure Networking (VNET, NSG, VPN)
- Azure Storage
- Azure Active Directory
- Azure DevOps
- Azure Security Center
- Azure Site Recovery
- Azure Automation
- Azure Monitor
- Azure Log Analytics
- Azure Policy
- Microsoft Azure certifications AZ103 / AZ104
- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages such as PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure CLI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
It would be great if you also have:
- Certifications such as AZ-300, AZ-400, AZ-500
- Experience administering Linux, Kubernetes (Docker, Rancher) in an enterprise environment.
