Compensation Pay Range:
$134,000.00 - $164,000.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
As part of O’Reilly’s Data Architect Practice within the Data area, this position supports the Data team, collaborates with technology and development teams to understand structural requirements and define standards for how data will be stored, consumed, integrated, modeled, and managed across the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Work with business analysts, source system support teams, and other partners to prioritize and drive the technical deliverables across multiple data warehousing work efforts such as data acquisition, data modelling, data distribution and reporting.
Provide leadership and guidance for developing and maintaining application architecture and development standards which adhere to industry best practices.
Articulate the trade-offs, benefits and risks of all architecture and design solutions.
Possess strong understanding of data modeling tools and standards, ETL tools, and big data technologies.
Clear and concise communication, interpersonal, organizational and team building skills, business judgment, and proven expertise in directing the efforts of a technical staff.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
6+ years of experience in data warehouse, data migration or integration
Minimum 3 years of lead experience in data warehousing, reporting and/or migration
Strong people management skills, including the ability to provide candid constructive feedback to analysts. and project team members with a focus on accountability and development for team and self
Must be comfortable working with all project stakeholders including business users, architects, project managers, business analysts, developers, test analysts, and production support team
