Job description

OVERVIEW:

The Order Management Group is part of the Order to Cash team and works alongside Billing, Collections, and Cash Applications on a regional basis to ensure customer orders are setup timely and accurately. This team works closely with Sales and Operations to ensure contracts reflect proper Speedcast billing entities and services delivered. The role is responsible for ensuring contracts are recorded accurately for forecasting and validates contractual terms are met when services terminate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Responsible for ensuring that all Order Management and contract setup policies, processes, and procedures are followed to ensure that contracts are set up properly for timely billing and forecasting.
  • Validate new orders have proper supporting documentation and correctly reflect customer and Speedcast legal entity.
  • Analyse and interpret customer contracts using independent judgment for setting up billing and taxes.
  • Create and manage customer orders (contracts) in MS Navision; verify accuracy of the order information; follow up on missing documentation, execute month-end edits and validations in preparation for billing.
  • Process changes of service, service removal requests, rig moves, and order updates in MS Navision.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met by the customer at the customer’s request to end service.
  • Create and manage Service Sites and Projects in MS Navision.
  • Prepare month-end accrual files for unprocessed orders.
  • Partner with Billing and Collections to address invoice queries and resolve disputes.
  • Participate in audits for new customer Orders.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 2-4 years' experience in a similar role.
  • College or bachelor's degree.
  • Familiarity with reviewing and interpreting customer POs and Contracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
