Your missions

This internship can be in-person, hybrid, or fully remote.

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Estate and Trust Department. Our Estate and Trust team works with clients in administration of estates and trusts, including analysis of related documents, preparation and review of tax returns, and fiduciary accounting.

 

As an Intern, you will work primarily with our Estate and Trust Team with some potential exposure to general Tax. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a high-demand area of tax. You will be given the support you need to develop a breadth of skills and experiences that will enable you to achieve your goals. Responsibilities

·        Various types of Fiduciary Income Tax returns

  • Gift Tax returns
  • Tax research projects
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Corporate (both S and C Corp) & Partnership Tax returns as needed

Requirements

  • Accounting major working towards 150 credit hours
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements
  • Completion of intermediate accounting course(s)
  • Completion of some Tax and/or Audit course(s) by time of internship
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Exemplary communication and organizational skills
  • Strong desire to learn and develop professionally
  • Motivated to serve clients
  • Desire to be a team player

Internships are paid, full-time experiences which run January – April. We recruit well in advance of this time frame to allow youflexibility and time to make arrangements for housing and required classes.
